iTelematics app for iPhone and iPad

iTelematics changes your iPhone into a mobile alarm and emergency device. In case of emergency alarm messages can be sent, help can be directed to the location and via the automatic voice connection preliminary measures can be started.

You are involved in an accident, you come into a dangerous situation or you respectively your children just want to feel more secure and safe when outside of your home, then take advantage of the iTelematics application on your iPhone.

It works very simple:
Step 1: Download free of charge your iTelematics application onto your iPhone.
Step 2: Open the iTelematics application, press the iTelematics Globe and enter your preferred alarm telephone number.
The simple alarm option, the iTelematics voice alarm, is in operation.

Functions:

The iTelematics alarm application offers following functions:

Alarm button:
After activating the alarm button an alarm message and the last known GPS position accompanied by the time stamp will be sent to the iTelematics Server. Additionally a voice connection will be established according to the telephone number you configure yourself.
The iTelematics server forwards those alarm data to a relative, a friend, a doctor, an aid organisation, a security service company or any other named third party can in order to start helping activities.

Tracking:
Activating the tracking function on the alarm menue results in sending in one minute intervals GPS positions to the iTelematics server. Optional those position data can be monitored on a map visible on your own local computer so that the endangered person can be found immediately.

Test:
Pushing the test button results in sending a position message to the iTelematics server. The position can be seen on your optional PC map.

A position is only sent when pressing the alarm- or test button on the iPhone. External localisation of the iPhone position is technically not available.

Alarm procedure:
The alarm message is sent first and latest after 80 secondes, even if no new GPS position is available, the alarm voice connection will be established.

Advises:
In case the iPhone is shielded e.g. by a building only an inaccurate GPS position might be gained.
We do not take any liability or guarantee for GPS and GSM(GPRS) net availability.
Any claims in case of damages occurred to objects or injuries to persons are excluded.

All sent and received data are subject to the German data protection law and will regularly be deleted.
